This maple dish features two live edges and two rough sawn edges. I left the areas that weren't dished just a little rustic, with minimal sanding and visible tool marks. The dished area has been sanded to 1000 grit and finished with a top-end furniture polish. As a whole, this piece features the feel and warmth of natural wood, weight and stability, and the always popular and unique ambrosia spalting.
