About

Handcrafted in Mississippi

Every piece starts as a personally selected rough block of wood and becomes something you’ll hold, use, and pass down.

I turn and finish each piece slowly by hand, following the grain and natural story of the material.

Each piece is naturally unique, and won't be duplicated.

I only sell pieces I’d proudly keep in my own home. If it doesn’t meet that standard, it doesn’t leave my shop.

My Process

Unless otherwise stated, all maple comes from a veteran run, employing, and veteran supporting organization**

I start with raw wood—slabs, blocks, or whatever form it comes in—and I let the grain tell me where it wants to go. I turn slowly on the lathe, taking away only what doesn’t belong until the shape starts to reveal itself. No rushing, no shortcuts, just honest work and good tools. When the form feels right, I sand it smooth and finish it to bring out the depth and character of the grain. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s a piece that feels natural, useful, and true to the wood it came from.

Many makers sand their pieces to 220 or 320 grit. I sand to 1,000 to 1,500 grit to make my pieces glass smooth and to bring out their natural details.
